"...To my knowledge there has not been a video or DVD that has been made to explain the intricacies of the process and the decisions that have to be made to produce wine in the glass...The production is professional but avoids the corporate slickness that often tends to dilute the genuine nature of the message and the whole experience has a very genuine 'kiwi' feel to it." Excerpt from WineNZ magazine. Full review here. "...Shayne Cox's narrative style is down-to-earth and effectively cuts through wine-industry jargon...a genuine look at one man's journey, and I like it.Excerpt from Yvonne Lorkin - Bay of Plenty Times. They have really done a super job of making the film accessible to everyone." Sam Kim - wine writer. Full review here. "...an ideal staff training tool for both the general wine and hospitality industries." Excerpt from New Zealand Wine website. Full review here. "Dressed in well-worn t-shirt and weathered jeans, with a ‘not afraid to get his hands dirty' attitude, Shayne makes it look all too easy. • Kerr Farm P07 Kumeu Pinotage 2007 - New Vintage NZD $19.95
This has been one of my favourites for a very long time. Very interesting flavours going on with this wine which is made from grapes from officially New Zealands oldest Pinotage vines, which are over 40 years old, influencing much of the complex flavours.Bright in its ruby crimson colour, attractively scented, floral with hints of lavender and berry. Creamy oak fills the palate which is ripe, juicy and velvety textured with fruit intensity and oak complexity to the backbone. Well integrated acidity and a touch of Pinotage's signature rusticity to the finish together with a spicy flourish makes this a very good and utterly enjoyable red wine. Even better the next day. A real gem.
  • Floral de Uncastellum 2008 - organic, vegan NZD $19.95
Made from Tempranillo and Garnacha (Grenache) this is a shiny, cherry red coloured wine with violet glints revealing its youth. It has a nose of cherries, freshly cut grass, irises and water lilies and on the palate, a juicy mouthful with aloe notes and a clean, refreshing taste. Great Value.

  • Kerr Farm Bella Rosa 2010 NZD $19.95
Made from Kerr Farm's famous Pinotage grapes, the juice for the Bella Rosa ('beautiful pink') was allowed to spend a few hours in contact with the skins before the it was pressed off for fermentation. A lovely bouquet of rose petals, watermelon and strawberries and cream, and a hint of mandarin on the finish with just a touch of sweetness.
  • Discovery Point Marlborough Dry Riesling 2009 NZD $19.95
Marlborough Dry Riesling That Really Is Dry It is always a struggle to find a quality NZ riesling that is truly dry yet still displays quality fruit. • Breaksea Sound Central Otago Pinot Noir 2009 NZD $19.95
This is truly worth $30+. Cherrycake and spice aromatics, solid, chunky berry flavours and a ripe, round mouthfeel. This vintage has finesse and structure and has to be the best value Otago pinot on the market. This wine has amazed everyone who tries it for its quality and value. Sourced from a single vineyard with grape yields less than half most pinot noirs, which makes a lot less wine but which gives added concentration. If you are a Central Otago pinot noir fan you must try this if you haven't already. Drinking well now and over the next couple of years.
  • Artisan Late Harvest Riesling 2008 - 375ml NZD $19.95
